The data

Our keyword database comes from crawling Mercado Libre's autocomplete API across all 18 markets — the same signals that ML uses to suggest searches to buyers. We've collected 18.6M unique keywords and 135M keyword-product appearances.

The method

Keyword volume is estimated using a depth/strength/prominence model derived from autocomplete tree structure — the same approach behind MerchantWords for Amazon. It's not perfect, but it correlates with real buyer demand better than any public signal ML exposes.
